But I never made it to the barrel/wreckage before...There are like 80 bazillion mursat right outside. And I can't dodge their spells with stances...ugg...

Many patches ago there were three wreckages up on a plateau in the arid sea that dropped 1-3 gold items every time. Difficult to get to, but sweet as hell while it lasted.

Can some one give me a current one.... I'm a monk so I been smiting round the springs as that seems to be the only place i can solo 4-5 attackers. Apart from that I maby happy to go hunting with some one if they want. IGN

"Nerfed" = the devs pleasantly adjusted an area or attribute of the game so that it cannot be exploited.

An example would be the chest run that SecretFire talks about in this thread. When the developers found out about the high drop rate of gold weapons from those three chests, they either cut them down, or took them out completely.

Nerf is a foam-plastic material used in childsafe toys. To nerf something is the equivelant of turning a real gun into a nerf gun.

well i dont like how they take spots where items drop, like the golds and purps. Of course it doesn't really matter because i never find anything anyway, hardly get purps and have never gotten a gold. Had 2 black dyes drop from MY KILLS and they went to my friend. it sucks

The ettins east of the Ascalon Settlement, ALWAYS drop runes. And as there are tons of them, there you go. Only problems are 1) They hit hard, and 2) They attack in groups of 2-3, and 3) They always use healing signet and is annoying. Grawl south of droknars in witmans folly are easier and drop some nice items, but they are bunched up making it hard to solo w/out henchies(which take loot)

Do the devs really nerf all farming locations, or simply move them around to make them difficult to find? Let's face facts - the good stuff costs a lot of cash, and you can't get the cash by just questing (at least not enough for the 15k armour, etc).

I would much rather spend my time on missions that reward you with flippin great wads of cash, rather than the low-level farming I have to do now - particularly when I'm so bad at it.

Obviously they can't have everyone walking around with 1000plat, or the economy would just disintegrate, but I do wish there was some other way of getting more gold.

Well a good place are FoW and Uw. Ok FoW is the easy one, and mostly the items are....... Uw should be a good place too. And btw. i got that " PIG " Platemail, and only bec. the 15k Armor looks "better" and have same Stats like mines, why should i spend 75k on that Armor ?? pfff

Surely part of playing the damn game is about obtaining virtual money. Then, by buying virtual things with your virtual money you can become more effective at playing the damn game. If obtaining money wasn't part of the game, then there wouldn't be any money in the game. There would just armour trees and rune bushes for us to farm at our leisure.

As I have said previously a few times in other posts, GW often reflects reality, in this case the fact that most people want lots of cash. Some of us suffer from a little 'sword envy' on occasion. We want the best, real or not - that costs money, real or not.

My, that's a big one I'd really like one of those - real or not!

Those Drakes they drop now normal items, even both lv 25 give normal ones.

i hear solo in under wourld is good but i have no clue how to make them and no ones tellin me how and also the time put in the refund points and... but thats one of the best ways to make money i hear at least

also i hear going on ebay is what ppl do but who has money for that
